We are three weeks into 2019 so I want you to ask yourself ‘am I keeping my New Year resolutions?’
These last days of January can be a danger zone for all of us who set out new goals for our therapy businesses.
Are you a therapist who set goals for 2019 to earn more and work better?
Are you sticking to those goals or are you finding it hard to stay motivated and on track?
If this sound like you, please do not despair.
Goal setting is one of the most important factors in creating a profitable therapy business. But it is often hard to set realistic goals and stick to them all by yourself.
The most important thing to remember is not to give up. If you are a therapist fully committed to making more money and finding new clients I can help you set the correct goals for your type of business.
You must not become disenchanted. Too often, therapists who work alone in a therapy clinic find it hard to stay motivated and find a way forward when things get tough.
That’s why I set up my Abundant Therapy business coaching programme. The bedrock of my coaching is a training system specifically geared to therapists who love treating their patients but who are not as skilled in running an actual business.
It is at this time of year that challenges can get us down. We begin the New Year with good intentions but it is too easy to slip back into old ways.
Does this sound like you? Are you trying to maximise your income and fill up your appointment diary – but things are not going to plan?
Please remember that you are not failing. The fact that you are trying to grow your business is half the battle. Perhaps you have set unrealistic goals that cannot be achieved in the time frame you imagine.
Perhaps some of the systems you use in your business, the appointments and booking system or your website for example, are holding you back from achieving your goal of becoming more successful.
Perhaps your marketing is just not finding your target audience. Believe me, your ideal clients are out there but you just need help to reach them.
As January draws to a close, do not dwell too much on things that have not gone according to plan. Instead make a new plan. A plan of baby steps to growth, rather than giant leaps.
By doing this, you will keep yourself motivated as you will see day-to-day improvements.
I am here to help you grow your business. Please do not hesitate to get in touch. I look working with therapists from a traditional medical background and those who offer complementary therapies. I look forward to hearing from you.
Let’s get on a call and we will make sure your New Year resolutions become your new everyday business practice.
