Female writing wish list in to notebook near christmas gifts

Abundant Therapist: Happy Christmas to you all!

It is just two days until Christmas. I love this time of year when I get to spend time with my family.

I also really enjoy the holidays from a business point of view. I use the Christmas break to look back over the past 12 months and to get charged up again for the coming year.

I always take two weeks off over Christmas and it is my time to really evaluate all my successes over the past year.

I split my end-of-year evaluation into three sections. I think about what has gone well this year, what has not gone so well and what I can do about it.  I also think about my goals and strategies for the coming year.

I love these last few days of the year as you can draw a line in the sand and say ‘yes, that was that, that is what I did well’ and I can move on to new exciting adventures.

Today I want you to focus on your successes. I absolutely love having either a plain piece of paper or a new notebook and writing down all that has gone well over the year, even small family successes, professional successes, anything that has gone well in your business.

I want you to do the same, then look back and give yourself a really big pat on the back.

So think about your success today, think about what you have achieved. It is an exciting time of year!

And remember, mistakes and missed opportunities are not to be worried about. They are just blips and you will learn from them to go on and become a better and stronger therapist.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all you wonderful therapists.
